Based on true stories from lockdown 2020, Quintessence introduces you to two neighbours who find themselves unable to leave their homes in Drogheda due to national Covid restrictions. One just wants to feel safe in her own home. The other just wants to see his children.
Behind Locked Doors first premiered as a short digital mini-series in Drogheda Arts Festival 2021. The live, physical ensemble multi-media stage production builds on this success, powerfully and poignantly exploring the lived experience of relationship abuse in an Irish lockdown. BEHIND LOCKED DOORS had its première at Droichead Arts Centre as part of Drogheda Arts Festival 2022.
